Starting January 10... I will be taking Luke 2 and running with it for several more Sundays. This comes from what Simeon says about the infant Jesus... He will be a revelation to the Gentiles.
I am exploring what this revelation is. I go to Romans, since this is a Luke-Paul connect. Luke takes up with Paul on Paul's journeys. Luke is probably a disciple of Paul and he hears what Paul teaches. Although the scope of revelation isn't clearly identified in Simeon's declaration, I believe Romans gives us at least five revelations of what Jesus does for us in order to have a meaningful and faithful relationship with God and others.
