CIRCLE 1 Welcomes all ladies of all ages! If you enjoy food, fellowship and have a fondness for the Word of God, please join us for Circle #1 as we begin a study of Nehemiah, a “Heart That Can Break” by Kelly Minter. Forget the fluster, foolishness, fleeting, fleshly, flatulent (look that one up!), flippant, frenzied, faulty, feeble, fickle ways of this world and sit with God’s Word in hand as we discover the fantastic truth in the book of Nehemiah. Circle 1 meets the first Tuesday of most months (we take a summer hiatus) at 9:30 AM.

CIRCLE 2 is a delightful mix of women who love God, our church, and each other. We meet the first Tuesday of each month in Room 110. We gather at 10:00 AM, for fellowship and some of the best desserts in Watauga County! We collect the "least coin" in addition to a two-dollar contribution from each member that are used for a variety of ministries, like the Grandfather Home for Children, Oasis, and Hospitality House. We have devotions, then Bible Study, our most important segment of our gathering. Our current study is James. Our discussions are at times personal, poignant, and inspiring. Prayer concerns and praises are also an integral part of our meetings. After an hour or two, we go our separate ways, filled with food for the soul as well as for the body!

CHAPTERS on mission: fleece tied blankets for Haitian orphans (My Tie Sunday)

First Presbyterian Church, Boone has partnered with Real Love Ministries to help support orphans, widows and a school in Minoterie, Haiti. Haiti has once again been decimated by an act of nature, so during this Chapters get together, we will focus on the children in the orphanage. We will be making tied fleece blankets to help provide comfort to the orphans and share with them that a church in Boone, NC loves them and is praying for them. This is an opportunity for fun and fellowship as we gather around the table to make the blankets.

Chapters is an intergenerational group of women that meets periodically.
