FPC is committed to God's Word.  We encourage you to take time during the week for personal Bible Study, which helps us understand God's character and is the most powerful tool for shaping God-like character within us.  Tools are available in the church Library, or online at sites such as or

FPC is committed to Christ-Centered Service… 
It’s our hope and prayer that our Christian Education programs foster a greater desire to serve God locally and globally.  We want to be a people who put our faith into action!  We encourage our Christian Education classes to serve on a regular basis together.  In addition, FPC offers All-Church Mission Projects on a quarterly basis that currently partners us with Watauga County Schools, Hospitality House, Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child and Grandfather Home For Children.
