Remembering September 11, 2001 and Responding in Love!

As we come upon another year of remembering those who died and all who selflessly gave of themselves to respond to this tragedy, you are invited to respond in a very small but meaningful way by baking  cookies, brownies, or any particular treat (non perishable) and bringing them with you to the church on Sunday, September 11. We will have some tables set up in the Gathering Space for you to place them.
Following either the 8:45 worship service, Sunday school or the 11:00 worship service, we invite anyone who would like to participate to pick up some of the goodies and deliver them, along with a note of thanksgiving from our church, to our first responders here in the High Country. In a very small and yet meaningful way, we want to thank them for their selfless commitment of service, especially as we remember September 11. This is an easy way for us to express our gratitude and share the love of Christ in our own community. Please see the sign-up sheet in the Gathering Space.

May we not only remember, but also respond appropriately!
