The Hospitality House, which, in addition to providing shelter and housing to homeless individuals, provides three meals a day, 365 days a year to anyone in the community.  In addition, its food pantry is the only one locally that is open seven days a week, and patrons can obtain food boxes twice monthly.

The Hospitality House has been forced to cut-back hours its food pantry is open as one way of dealing with the increased demand and the food pantry supplies have been depleted within a day of receipt of a truckload delivery from Second Harvest, its principal supplier of food.

We’re reminded that God, when Abraham demonstrated unshakable faith, provided a ram for sacrifice in place of Isaac, prompting Abraham to name that place Jehovah-jireh, “God will provide.”   In these trying times, God has provided, through your generous contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund, substantial monies to assist local hunger relief efforts.  We ask that you continue to give as you are able so that those efforts may continue.
