How blessed we are to have such a beautiful church building! Yet, just like our own homes, this building needs some sprucing up and extra cleaning from time to time. Our janitorial staff do a wonderful job with routine chores; but, washing windows, deep cleaning the kitchen and painting the scuffs on the walls are beyond the scope of their contract. No church committee is accountable for these tasks.
As stewards of God’s gifts, we are all responsible for taking care of the church building. Are you willing to set aside a few hours on May 4th from 8:00 until 12:00 (or even a part of that time) to care for God’s house? If so, please sign up via the link below.
On May 4th, bring your cleaning rags, squeegees, extension poles, paintbrushes, rollers, and drop clothes. The paint and cleaning supplies will be provided. A pizza lunch will be served at noon. Together let’s make our church building shine!
